An aluminum extrusion company is seeking a sales manager for the Midwestern US.

Description:

Working under the guidance of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the Regional Sales Manager will lead the profitable growth and bookings of the extruded aluminum product line for the Midwest region of the United States.  This role requires a technically savvy sales professional within the aluminum extrusion industry that has a proven track record of relationship building, closing deals, and nurturing an active sales pipeline. The Regional Sales Manager will be a key contributor to driving ambitious growth plans in the aluminum extrusion marketplace. 

Duties:

Maintain and nurture  existing extrusion market customer base within the territory.

Identify, target and establish new customers for standard and custom extruded products across a myriad of industries with the goal of converting opportunities into new business.

Follow-up on leads from web inquiries and distribution sales to qualify potential opportunities.

Perform on-site presentations and demonstrations at prospective customer sites.

Actively promote Wakefield’s thermal engineering services (Coolvations) to customers and educate them on the benefits at the beginning of their design process.

Liaise with plant management leadership team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and that delivery metrics and dates are communicated and upheld.

Partner with Senior Customer Care Coordinator who supports Regional Sales Manager with daily communication and order management for customers.


Plan, forecast, and report on regional business performance via KPI Metrics.

Participate in the annual sales and budget planning process along with the other members of the Extrusion and  Thermal sales team.

Utilize a CRM system to manage client calls and relationships as well as track leads, opportunities, conversions, and bookings.


REQUIREMENTS:

B.S Degree in Business Management or an Engineering discipline.

5 years of direct sales experience within the aluminum extrusion industry.

Excellent MS office capabilities required – proficiency in CRM enterprise systems.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills.

High energy, positive, go-getter with a winning attitude and a desire for success

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Regional travel up to 75%
