United Employment Group is seeking a Maintenance Electrician in South Carolina.
Description:
We are in search for a Electrical Technician to help support our commercial brick plant operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:
• Maintaining / troubleshooting plant electrical systems and automated equipment
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance
• Installing new equipment including running wire and conduit
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories anticipating future needs.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communication actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Provides electrical maintenance guidance to plant operations personnel.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
APPLICANTS SHOULD POSSESS AND DEMONSTRATE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF:
• The National Electrical Code
• Motor Control Circuits
• Variable Speed Drives
• Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley 500 & 5000 ideal)
• HMIs
• Networking
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School degree (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years Electrical maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment
