Building Envelope & Forensic Department Lead ($100k-$140k) (#11524) - Central FL
United Employment Group is seeking a Department Head for both Forensics and Building Envelope. (*2 separate roles)
Our cleint is looking for someone that has expertise in forensic investigations, identifying construction defects; preparing expert forensic reports, preparing opinions of probable costs, providing expert testimony in deposition, mediation and trial as well as overseeing the preparation of repair documents, and construction administration services. A wide variety of structures including condominiums, commercial buildings, plazas, and parking garages, contact and maintain clients, manage staff and resources, outline forensic objectives and testing, and developer transition studies while working with a multidiscipline team of engineers and technical staff members.
- Knowledge of architectural, structural, building envelope, glazing and waterproofing systems.
- On-site field investigation and about 20 percent travel (within Florida).
- Strong computer, writing, communication, and management skills are necessary.
- Registered professional architect or engineer, B. Arch or BSCE, and at least 10 – 15 years of experience are required with demonstrated experience in a senior consultant and management.
