Company leading manufacturer of precast prestressed products specializing in bridge girders, structural components for buildings, parking structures, and highway pavement. Our company manufactures structural precast such as state of the art bridge girders, double T’s, freeway paving slabs, etc. The company is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager for its facility in California.
We are seeking a Quality Control Manager who is a driven, safety-minded, detail-orientated, and experienced individual. QC Manager will be responsible for creating and managing the quality control and assurance systems in all aspects of the design, production, and delivery of precast/prestressed products. The QC Manager provides support to the Engineering Department, Plant Manager, Inspectors, Technicians, and additional support to provide support to Superintendent, other departments, and clients to meet quality and production goals efficiently and professionally while meeting our Company standards and policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow and department schedules
- Understand the project specifications, plans, and related documents regarding quality control
- Maintain current certifications in the Plant, Concrete Batch Plant, QC Lab, Stressing Rams, and QC Personnel
- Ensure QC reports are well organized, accurate, and completed in a timely manner
- Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections
- Drafts, implements, and maintains standard operating procedures to improve the manufacturing process and quality of products
- Monitors and reports on product quality, nonconformance, trends, and underlying causes of product defects
- Help to ensure a safe work environment both in the office and plant

- Work described will require to be in the plant and yard environment
- Work authorization, the right to work in the United States without sponsorship
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with five years of applicable experience or
- Associate degree with related coursework
- ACI Certification
- PCI Level II with a minimum of 5 years of precast/prestressed concrete experience or
- PCI Leve III with 3 years of job-related experience
- Caltrans Certifications are required
Benefits:
- Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications, $100,000 to $140,000 annually
