Are you skilled in the setup and operation of injection molding machines? We’re looking for a dependable Injection Molding Process Technician to join our growing team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and start injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshoot molding processes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Perform mold changes and machine adjustments as needed.
- Monitor production and perform in-process inspections.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
- Configure the robotic system for end-of-arm tooling operations
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with injection molding machines.
- Experience with changing molds safely and efficiently.
- Working knowledge of plastic materials, molding processes, and machine settings.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Preferred (but not required):
- RJG or Paulson training/certification.
- Familiarity with scientific molding practices.
- Experience using Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems
