- Directly work on and develop all new mold processes
- Directly lead and support the Injection Molding Process Technicians
- Maintain all process functions of molding presses and auxiliary equipment
- Responsible for press startups, ensuring quality, answering alarms, and continuing production in an efficient manner
- Review sample parts and quality rejects and make recommendations for corrective action
- Maintain process log books and review proposed process modifications with engineers
- Troubleshoot processing, quality, and tooling issues
- Work with maintenance to resolve press malfunctions and minimize downtime
- Support the development of new tooling, machines, and associated production equipment
- Strong organization and communication skills with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to implement controlled molding processes in a production manufacturing environment
- Experience with lot number traceability, engineering grade resins, and specification-driven processes
PLASTIC INJECTION experience needed
