Summary of Function
Responsible for the repair and upkeep of metal-stamping operations equipment and company facilities and for the overseeing of Maintenance staff.Major Duties and Responsibilities
- 5S of Maintenance shop
- Follow up on PM completion and tracking
- Report out on Major Projects monthly
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Develop and implement Maintenance procedures
- Allocate workload between multiple shifts, supervise Custodians and Washer Techs
- Monitor spare parts inventory and place orders when needed
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
- Ensure all work orders are completed and closed on time
- Plex system work, such as entering Pos, work orders, spreadsheets, and procedures
- Weekly meetings with staff
- Compliant with ISO requirements per the training provided

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Technical school, majoring in electrical controls or industrial maintenance, can be substituted by ten years of hands-on experiencing working with automation machines
- Background with hydraulic pump, valves, etc., and electrical controls
- Ability to read PLC ladder logic, preferably Siemens or Allen Bradley
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Knowledge of three phase motor controls, AC/DC servo drives
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in a Maintenance Manager role
- Solid understanding of mechanical and technical work for repair and upkeep of stamping operations equipment and company facilities
- Solid understanding of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems, and PLC Ladder Logic
- Background in Predictive Maintenance
- Ability to track and report on activity
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational/leadership/supervisory skills to develop team and to oversee all daily maintenance activities, including delegation of tasks, tracking of Maintenance performance and directing the process of repairs
- Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning and decision-making
- Solid hands-on MRP experience, preferably Plex
