Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Quality Engineer in the Midwest. This role supports a foundry operation by owning customer quality requirements, leading defect investigations and corrective actions, and working with Production and Engineering to reduce scrap and improve first-pass yield.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science or a related technical field

✅ 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a foundry or metals manufacturing setting

✅ Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions and MRB

✅ Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T

✅ Working knowledge of SPC, FMEA and control plans

Preferred

✅ Experience with NDT methods (X-ray, penetrant, magnetic particle)

✅ ISO 9001 or similar quality system experience

Salary: $85K – $90K
