Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Process Engineer (Part Owner) in the Southeast. This role owns a portfolio of cast parts from start to finish. It covers interpreting customer specifications, leading part qualification, managing routers and documentation, and driving yield and scrap improvements with the process teams.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field

✅ 3+ years of engineering experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment

✅ Understanding of metallurgy, microstructure and casting defect analysis

✅ Experience with part qualification (FAI, PPAP/APQP) and MRB

✅ Strong project management skills, plus Minitab, Excel and Pareto analysis

Preferred

✅ Investment casting, metallurgy or part qualification experience

✅ Background with NDT and heat treatment specifications

Salary: $100K+
