Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Process Engineer in the Midwest. This role leads lean and continuous improvement work across a foundry operation, from the shop floor to the front office, with a focus on throughput, quality, on-time delivery and cost.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

✅ 5+ years of manufacturing experience in foundry and high-speed machining operations

✅ Strong working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools (VSM, standard work, SMED, pull systems)

✅ Experience with FMEA, DOE and structured problem solving

✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams

Preferred

✅ Lean or Six Sigma certification

✅ CAD/CAM and project management experience

Salary: $100K – $120K
