Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Post-Cast Process Engineer in the Southeast. This role owns post-cast operations from knockout through heat treatment and finishing, turning raw castings into finished, shippable parts while driving throughput, quality and safety.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field

✅ 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a foundry or heavy industrial setting

✅ Experience with heat treatment, cleaning room operations, or precision grinding and blending

✅ Familiarity with heat treat process controls and pyrometry

✅ Ability to read complex casting drawings and use root cause methods to fix defects

✅ Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR/EAR)

Preferred

✅ Precision casting experience

✅ Background with chemical processing systems or 3D scanning

Salary: $100K+
