Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Ceramics Engineer in the Southeast. This role is the technical lead for an advanced ceramics manufacturing process, from material formulation and forming through firing and finishing. You would drive yield, process control and quality on precision ceramic components.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or a related field

✅ 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in ceramics or materials processing

✅ Experience with ceramic injection molding, forming or thermal processing

✅ Experience with SPC using Minitab or Excel, and with lab testing methods

✅ Knowledge of dimensional inspection, tooling design and GD&T

Preferred

✅ Experience in investment casting or high-temperature materials

✅ Experience starting up a new process or production line

Salary: $140K+
