We are seeking an Applications Engineer on-site in MO to support the design and implementation of concrete batch plant systems. This role works closely with the sales and engineering teams to develop plant layouts, provide technical support to customers, and ensure equipment solutions meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop technical solutions for customers
- Design and optimize concrete batch plant layouts
- Create and review 3D plant layouts and drawings
- Provide technical support during the sales process, including equipment selection and configuration
- Travel to customer sites for project discussions, site evaluations, and technical support
- Assist with project execution and coordination between internal teams and customers
- Ensure proposed plant designs meet customer requirements and operational efficiency goals
Qualifications
- Experience in the concrete, ready-mix, or bulk material handling industry
- Background in applications engineering, mechanical engineering, or plant design
- Experience with 3D layout/design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Strong understanding of concrete batch plant equipment and processes preferred
- Ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional internal teams
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%
Preferred
- Experience designing ready-mix or precast plant layouts
- Hands-on experience with concrete plant equipment or installation
- Existing relationships within the ready-mix industry
