Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Maintenance Manager in the Midwest. This plant leadership role runs the maintenance department at a high-volume iron foundry. It owns equipment reliability, uptime, preventive maintenance and the maintenance budget, and leads the team that keeps production running safely.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

✅ 8+ years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing, including 5+ years in leadership

✅ Experience maintaining automated molding lines, sand systems and melt equipment

✅ Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and PLC troubleshooting skills

✅ Experience building preventive and predictive maintenance programs and managing a maintenance budget

✅ Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams across multiple shifts

Preferred

✅ Green sand foundry experience (DISA or similar)

✅ Experience in an automotive or high-production manufacturing environment

Salary: $140K+
