Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Product Engineer in the Southeast. This role owns the dimensional and tooling side of a portfolio of precision cast parts. It covers reading customer blueprints and GD&T, specifying and managing tooling, and leading first article qualification so parts meet specifications.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or a related engineering field

✅ 3+ years of engineering experience in dimensional control, tooling design or precision manufacturing

✅ Strong GD&T knowledge, including tolerance stack-ups and datum schemes

✅ Proficiency in 3D CAD (Siemens NX preferred)

✅ Experience with FAI/PPAP and working with outside tool shops

Preferred

✅ Precision machining experience

✅ Background with 3D scanning and CNC tooling practices

Salary: $100K+
