Summary

UEG is seeking a Foundry Wax Process Owner Engineer in the Southeast. This role owns the wax room, from pattern injection through final assembly, and drives dimensional consistency and fewer defects so every mold is set up for a quality casting.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical or a related engineering field

✅ 3+ years of engineering experience in investment casting wax room operations or injection molding

✅ Hands-on experience setting and troubleshooting injection press parameters

✅ Understanding of wax or polymer material behavior, fixture design and gating principles

✅ Experience with SPC, Minitab or Excel to track process stability and scrap

Preferred

✅ Experience working with pattern dies and tooling

✅ Background with 3D scanning or dimensional data analysis
