Job Description
An established engineering company is seeking a Land Development Senior Project Manager to join their Civil/Site team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for project management, leadership, profitability, and client management for the Civil/Site project design team. Projects range from large warehousing complexes and sporting arenas to residential developments and mixed-use establishments in downtown business districts.Responsibilities
- Project management of land development plans, stormwater management, water and sanitary sewer, soil erosion and sediment control design
- Managing multiple projects and workload with competing deadlines
- Quality control
- Regulatory agency permitting
- Proposal scope and budget preparation
- Financial management including invoice preparation and accounts receivable
- Scheduling of projects for successful completion
- Managing existing client relationships and developing new clientele
- Hiring, mentoring, and training new staff to build a successful Civil/Site team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of site design experience
- PE license required
- Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations
- Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading, and other site development design
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
- Construction oversight experience a plus
