Overview The District Sales Manager is responsible for quoting and securing rebar fabrication business, building customer relationships, and supporting regional sales growth. This role requires extensive travel and face-to-face customer interaction within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business and build customer relationships in the rebar fabrication market
- Quote and secure business within the assigned territory
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal operations
- Develop annual sales plans for the region
- Collaborate with inside sales and estimating teams
- Provide market forecasts and identify new business opportunities
- Uphold safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Sales or marketing experience in the steel industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel extensively within the territory
- Must reside in or near St. Louis, MO
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred
- Experience in customer relations and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with contracts and standard business practices
