We are looking for a Substation Designer and/or Sr. Substation Designer to lead projects for high/medium voltage physical substation projects in the region. Pay range is dependent on experience but will range between $85k-$120k
Duties:
- Responsible for the production of detailed plans for high and medium voltage physical substation improvements
- Producing a high-quality work product while fostering a high level of client satisfaction.
- Responsibility for the preparation of complete and accurate plans and details.
- Mentor junior designers
- Typical tasks:
- Substation site plans
- Substation arrangements and elevations
- Conduit plans and schedules
- Foundation layouts/detailing
- Grounding plans and details
- Steel structural detailing
Qualifications:
- 3-10+ years of experience
- Strong background with substation projects
- Experience with AutoCAD
