Responsibilities:
- Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, gas compression plants, chemical plants, cold storage, and recreational ice rink facilities.
- Our service technicians are required to adhere and follow company safety policies
- Maintain and manage truck and job boxes in an accurate and neat manner, along with truck inventory
Required Qualifications:
- Available to travel 25%
- Basic Computer Skills (electronic documentation)
- Excellent verbal and communication skills and be comfortable in dealing with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
- Minimum 1-2 years field experience
- RETA 1 &2 certification is a plus (candidate is expected to obtain certifications)
- Universal EPA certification an asset (candidate is expected to obtain certifications)
- Working knowledge of reciprocating, screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting, and common types of industrial refrigeration and or gas compression experience
- Must be able to climb ladders, and lift up to fifty pounds
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Industrial and commercial refrigeration experience is required
- Previous experience with ammonia refrigerant is required
