This Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for estimating assigned bid opportunities and managing projects that are won. The Manager is responsible for the successful completion (on time and within budget) of their assigned projects. This position reports to the Director of Estimation/Project Management.

- Submit accurate estimates for assigned bid opportunities for review/pricing.
- Manage submittal process and submit bids on time.
- Review bid documents and special requirements.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors and obtain accurate quotes for estimates.
- Procure material for projects.
- Review and assemble Schedule of Values (SOVs) to maintain workflow/cashflow.
- Ensure all materials are fabricated and delivered on time to the job site.
- Review and manage all changes, T&M slips and change orders.
- Review invoices from subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, etc.
- Manage project schedules to ensure on-time completion.
- Manage project team, including company personnel, rebar supplier, concrete supplier, rebar installer and general contractor.
- Manage projects to remain on-time and within project budget.
- Manage submittal process.
- Ensure proper document control.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Attend two business development events per quarter.
- Undergraduate degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in estimating and/or project management roles.
- Strong analytical and communications skills.
- Acute attention to details.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Experience with estimating software, preferably Sage estimating.
- Excellent understanding of construction practices and project management principles.
- May be required to work overtime and on weekends.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds; Frequently bend, stoop, squat or twist
