Regional Sales - Concrete Equipment (#11206) - Multiple Openings/Regions
Industry: Concrete Construction Suppliers
Seeking a strong sales professional with concrete equipment experience!
ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SELLING TO CONCRETE PRODUCERS SUCH AS READY-MIX, PRECAST, PRESTRESS, ETC. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
- Solid mechanical sales background in the construction industry.
- Successful track record working from a home office.
- Capital equipment sales experience in selling solutions that range from $250K - $5M a plus.
- Overnight travel is required. Estimated at 1-2 nights per week but may vary.
- Developing new sales opportunities by phone and in person
- Making executive level presentations to mid/large sized corporations
- Be able to climb in and around equipment recognizing areas of improvement within customers’ facility
- Presenting and promoting new company products, equipment and technologies
- Understanding industrial equipment and operations
- Other duties as assigned
- Background in capital equipment new business development
- Material handling experience is a strong plus
- Ensures the customers are satisfied and the company is professionally represented at all times
- Self-starter orientated - won’t require direct daily hands on management
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Entrepreneurial approach
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft suite, CRM software)
- Familiar with interrupting engineered drawings
- Valid passport and ability to travel
- Mechanical aptitude with sales background in industrial equipment, processes, major components
- Able to take measurements and identify replacement parts/components in dirty or dusty environment
