Seeking a strong sales professional with concrete equipment experience!

Description:

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SELLING TO CONCRETE PRODUCERS SUCH AS READY-MIX, PRECAST, PRESTRESS, ETC. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

Requirements:

  • Solid mechanical sales background in the construction industry.
  • Successful track record working from a home office.
  • Capital equipment sales experience in selling solutions that range from $250K - $5M a plus.
  • Overnight travel is required. Estimated at 1-2 nights per week but may vary.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new sales opportunities by phone and in person
  • Making executive level presentations to mid/large sized corporations
  • Be able to climb in and around equipment recognizing areas of improvement within customers’ facility
  • Presenting and promoting new company products, equipment and technologies
  • Understanding industrial equipment and operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in capital equipment new business development
  • Material handling experience is a strong plus
  • Ensures the customers are satisfied and the company is professionally represented at all times
  • Self-starter orientated - won’t require direct daily hands on management
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Entrepreneurial approach
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft suite, CRM software)
  • Familiar with interrupting engineered drawings
  • Valid passport and ability to travel
  • Mechanical aptitude with sales background in industrial equipment, processes, major components
  • Able to take measurements and identify replacement parts/components in dirty or dusty environment
