Industry: Design and Construction
Candidate will be asked to project manage industrial refrigeration construction projects.
Candidate will be asked to project manage industrial refrigeration construction projects. Project Management duties include:
•Buy Equipment and engage subcontractors and rental equipment vendors. Includes the writing of purchase orders/subcontracts and organizing of deliveries,
•Review Contract•Ensure scope of work matches.
•Review contract for any inclusions in the contract that may negatively affect our risk, payment, resources, overtime and hours, change order rates and profit, etc.
•This will include reviewing schedule for agreement.
•Billing•Create Schedule of Values
•Properly bill for work completed on a monthly basis or weekly basis
•Track change orders
•Track payments with customer and follow up on late payments.
•Create equipment submittals as required by the contract.
•Track through a submittal log.
•Project planning•Carefully organize "Project Manuals" for distribution to field employees. Manuals Include project information including, scope of work, permit, project information and location, customer contacts, material takeoffs, purchase orders, submittals, project specifications, addenda, drawings, etc.
•Provide drawings and other relevant information for foremen to complete project planning.
•Organize and execute turn over and close out meetings
•Organize and plan labor to meet project requirements (with both Foreman and field supervisor).
•Visit project site regularly to complete the following:•Develop customer relationship.
•Ensure installation quality.
•Assist with problem solving.
•Review material usage.
•Review crew efficiency.
•Plan for future work and changes.
•Show office support for the Foreman and our safety personnel.
Desired Skills & Experience
0 years of experience necessary with Building Construction Management Degree.
2-4 years of experience in HVAC, Refrigeration or Electrical Project Managment without a Degree.
•Good computer skills required; Microsoft applications
•Customer Service skills
•Excellent Communication skills
•People Skills, work well with others, and a team player
•Ability to handle multiple tasks at same time
•Work with limited to no supervision
•Reliable and trustworthy
Base Pay range $45k to $60k based on experience, plus bonuses
