SEEKING: Metal Stamping- Maintenance Managers in WI & TN

Description:

We are currently seeking multiple Maintenance Managers for Metal Stamping facilities located in Wisconsin & Tennessee.
Compensation: $110K +  bonus (DOE)  Relocation: Assistance Available
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and maintains schedule and allocates work to employees
  • Monitors ongoing work progress and final inspection upon completion of work
  • Establishes and maintains an effective preventative maintenance program
  • Performs installation, modification, repairs and scheduled maintenance of plant equipment
  • Performs root-cause analysis to identify causes of machine breakdowns and makes recommendations to fix problem
  • Oversees work contracted to outside companies for maintenance/repair
  • Arranges training for employees both on the floor and in classroom on maintenance safety
  • Works with Engineering/Quality/Production departments to provide input on equipment design
  • Provides coaching and counseling to direct reports and conducts timely performance reviews
  • Requisitions and/or authorizes all purchase orders required to maintain machinery and/or equipment
  • Participates in continuous Improvement activities that enhance quality and efficiencies
  • Develops new or updates existing procedures and instructions as required
  • Keeps apprised of equipment/machinery available through attending seminars, reading literature etc
  • Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment
  • Controls Monthly Expenses, develops Annual budgets and develops and tracks capital project budgets
     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College or University Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Practical knowledge based on a minimum of 5 years of work related experience in a manufacturing/ automotive industry
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams and blueprint drawings
  • Mechanically inclined with strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic machinery, automation, electronic, electrical and PLC’s
  • Sound knowledge of industrial safety procedures
  • Very good understanding of NFPA & NEC codes
  • Understanding of TS16949 and ISO14001requirements
  • Exercises sound judgment when determining the best course of action
  • Effective use of problem-solving
  • Good communication skills
  • Accountability for the safety of facility and employees
