Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial and industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.

Description:

Position Overview
Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of Commercial / Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration and utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, computer, electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding, PSM, Ammonia Safety, and mechanical layouts.
This would include:
 Utilize mechanical prints/schematics to assemble or repair equipment.
 Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial and industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
 Perform safety inspections, PSM reviews, operational audits and mechanical integrity audits.
 Perform preventive maintenance of ammonia systems and HVAC/Boiler equipment.
 Rebuild and install various types of pumps.
 Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
 Keeps current all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
 Provides technical support to customers.
 Familiar with PSM, OSHA and EPA Compliance as associated with Ammonia Refrigeration.
 Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
 Must have a great team attitude with good communication & customer relationship skills.
 Able to pass physical for lifting.
 Self motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision.
 Clean cut, drug free and able to pass a background checks.
 Insurable MVR required, able to drive company van or truck.
 Accountable, Reliable, Dependable, Honest.
 CFC Certification a must.
 Some limited travel required
 Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
