Foundry Lean Manufacturing Process Engineer (#89568) - Southeast
Identify, propose, and coordinate continuous improvement and reliability projects using lean, statistical, and or reliability tools including; OEE, down-time, SPC, Six Sigma FMEA
The Lean Manufacturing Process Engineer will focus on supporting and improving automated systems in a foundry. These systems each involve many moving parts including PLC controlled conveyors, motion, hydraulics, and many human interaction points. This position will work with engineering, controls engineering, maintenance, management, and vendors to increase the reliability of this equipment through continuous improvement.
• Identify, propose, and coordinate continuous improvement and reliability projects with minimal guidance while keeping key stakeholders involved and informed of project status, targets, and learning. This position involve a mix of short and long term projects.
• Drive and measure continuous improvement and optimization of automated systems using lean, statistical, and or reliability tools including; OEE, down-time, SPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, to prioritize improvements.
Train, mentor, and involve technicians, team leaders, and other engineers in projects to expand on-site knowledge and encourage project ownership.
