2nd or 3rd shift.  Rotate 12 hours on the weekends up to every other weekend.

Qualifications:

Current Manufacturing Maintenance Experience
Ability to safely lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
Ability to stand for 8 consecutive hours
Ability to work in a warm or cold (0-40 degrees) environment and around product dust
Ability to climb and work from a ladder
Ability to work in a self-directed team environment
Ability to work independently with high quality and productivity
Ability to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment
Mechanical, math, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime including weekend work
Possess Level B Refrigeration Certification and be able to complete and pass Level C certification within 6 months
Ability to pass HAZMAT physical and wear SCBA tanks and suit

Responsibilities:

Follow all Safety procedures and support all Safety initiatives, and goals of the team
Maintain all Quality and GMP standards
Work effectively in a team environment while following Plant Norms
Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI)/Belvidere Total Improvement Process (BTIP) activities including, but not limited to Autonomous Maintenance, Why-Why Analysis, Focused Improvements, and 5S
Communicate effectively with others
Manage multiple tasks and priorities
Attend required meetings and trainings
Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment including preventive, predictive, overhaul and corrective maintenance
Set up, troubleshoot, adjust and operate assigned equipment
Effectively complete log book and maintenance measures documentation
Provide effective transfer of information between shifts on condition of equipment and performance issues
Demonstrate safe work practices ensuring safety of personnel and safe operation of equipment, including, but not limited to: confined space entry, lockout/tagout, hot work permits, use of welding curtains, safe handling of chemicals and emergency response procedures.
Learn and follow Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
Be a fully engaged member of the HAZMAT team
Contribute to continuous improvement results by providing technical expertise and assisting in plant problem solving
Complete necessary training to upgrade skills pertaining to effective maintenance of equipment and systems.
Utilize Maximo maintenance management system by navigating through screens to enter data, understanding the work order control system and understanding the parts/stock requisitioning process.
Schedule repair work, identify and requisition parts, document repair history for equipment including labor, materials and outside maintenance services.
Ensure rebuilt parts are properly located and recommend parts for stocking.
Perform basic sheet metal layout and fabrication
Demonstrate:
o    Thorough understanding of all  compressors, vac pumps, and hydraulic pumps

o    Thorough understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems including schematics and symbols

o     Arc, TIG, and gas welding skill

o    Understanding and use of lubrication including schedules and types of lubricants used

o    Use of a multimeter to perform basic troubleshoooting of an electric motor, photo sensor, or limit switch

o    Proper use of hand and power tools

o    Basic skill with shop equipment including mill, lathe, grinder, drill press, hydraulic press, metal cutoff saw, bandsaw and electric hoist
