United Employment Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Charlotte, NC.

Description:

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, driven, an effective communicator, planner, with a proven background as an Assistant Project Manager in Residential, Multi-family or Commercial construction. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who is looking to expand a current book of business and grown within the organization.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains installation schedules for assigned territory to maximize production schedules, customer requirements and subcontractors
  • Ensures subcontractors adhere to company and customer requirements of Safety, quality, scheduling, communication and housekeeping
  • Responds to customers’ needs providing timely feedback regarding all scheduling and related issues
  • Assists in the development of company standard processes and procedures associated with fieldwork and requirements
  • Oversee, monitor and implement accountability regarding day-to-day operating procedures including safety, site inspections, customer relations and pay policies
  • Builds strong customer relations/commitment by educating customers on company products and services, training and product demonstrations
  • Provides field oversight and verification of company products in accordance with work-order specification
  • Handles customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner that protects the interests of the company while satisfying the customer
  • Interfaces with a variety of internal departments to ensure timely delivery and installation of company materials
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
  • Manages material warehousing, delivery and distribution to sub-contractors

 

Requirements:
  • Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • 1 to 2 years Project Management experience within Residential, Multi-Family and/or Commercial construction
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory
  • hysical requirements including the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. required
